Increase computer performance

1.Add more ram is Ur best best

2.First, AVG. It is a great, FREE antivirus and uses few resources. Next do an Ad-Aware scan to remove spy ware and adware.

  • 3.regular maintenance: this will only provide a noticeablee improvement if you don't do it often.once you start doing it often, the gains are unnoticeable.

4.CC leaner - clean all the junk up. You will be shocked how much junk you can accumulate that you don't know about.

What are the symptoms of hard drive failure?

  • the hard disk makes some noise, as the disk is getting spoilt

  • A ticking noise was apparent when mine went, with the BIOS asking which part was to reboot the system

Can you transfer the contents of an internal hard drive to a external portable one?

  • Simplest way to do this would be to take your hard drive out and connect it as a secondary drive on another PC. Then it will just appear as a standard drive letter and you can copy/move anything you want.

  • easy as pie...just set the jumpers on your hard drive to slave and connect it to another PC...simply drag and drop what you need...

Do PC speakers still connect to your headphone socket in you PC?

I have some really old PC speakers that you can plug into the headphone socket on your PC. So I have been able to also plug them into my TVs headphone socket and get good sound. So i was just wondering if new 2.1 speakers work the same way? And can i plug them into my TV?
